I make data behave.
By day I architect pipelines and reporting systems at a national bank. Outside work I'm learning languages, attempting musical instruments, and slowly ticking off a bucket list that includes skydiving and wingsuit flying. This is where I write about all of it.

At Work
Manager at ICICI Bank Ltd, leading data engineering for regulatory reporting systems — ETL pipelines, quality frameworks, and a few hundred stakeholders who need accurate numbers every morning.
Writing
Turning 3+ years of enterprise data experience into articles. First piece — a plain-English guide to OFSAA — is almost done. I write to understand, not to perform expertise.
Learning
Working on two musical instruments and one new language. Progress is slow and humbling. Exactly how I like it.
Exploring
Using AI tools daily in my engineering work — building intuition for where they genuinely help and where they confidently mislead.

A bit more
I studied at IIT Bhubaneswar (dual B.Tech + M.Tech, 2016-2021), which taught me how to think about systems — not just read about them.
Since 2022 I've been at ICICI Bank Ltd, where I went from Data Analyst to Data Engineer to Manager. The work is unsexy in the best way: making regulatory pipelines reliable, catching data failures before anyone notices, and documenting things so the next engineer doesn't have to suffer.
Outside the office I'm chasing a bucket list that involves more velocity than most would advise, attempting instruments I clearly wasn't born for, and occasionally cooking something I'd actually serve to other people.
I'm building this site to think out loud — and because writing things down is the fastest way I know to figure out what I actually think.
INTERESTS
What I actually care about
Music
Music is the one thing I can get completely lost in. I'm learning to play — slowly, badly, stubbornly. I write about what music does to the brain and why certain songs stick.
Coffee
Somewhere between appreciator and obsessive. I have opinions about brewing methods and I'm not ashamed of any of them.
Finance & Markets
I work in banking data all day and I find financial systems fascinating — not the numbers, but the incentives and irrationality behind them.
Cooking
Experimental and chaotic. I treat recipes as suggestions. It goes wrong often enough to stay interesting and right often enough to keep going.
Adventure
The bucket list has skydiving, scuba, bungee jumping, wingsuit flying. I've started ticking it. Comfort is fine — discomfort is where things get memorable.
Building Things
Data pipelines, side projects and this website. There's something satisfying about making something that didn't exist before — and even more satisfying when it doesn't break at 2 AM.
